EL Doc goes North and South for Gwithian
The Doc travells up N.E and sails in some strange place! brief report below some images looks a bit of a shithole to me!
But Gwithian looks bloody great well worthy of a BWA trip on a windy weekend .
Well, seeing as you asked i did find somewhere
better to sail in an easterly - went over to the "East Side". That's
right, Alan Partridge country - Norfolk. Was visiting some rellies and yachting
mates from the old days just north of Norwich for the weekend, when it got windy.
Headed up to the north coast to a place called Cromer - (quite similar to Rhyll
if you've ever been)
20kts, cross shore from the right with some nice steep north sea waves - Sunday
was ok wave riding with Barry style one turn wonders, and today it was more
for jumping - good steep ramps and some rocket air. Local boys proved to be
pretty handy too.

Can't say it's really worth the 5 hour trip just for a sail, but if you're coming
this way and the forecast is good then definately worth putting the kit in.
Guy.
this Gwithian looks the better bet !! ((( says the batman )))
