Woodchip Floats in Garda Lake
Paul does a little hol in Lake Garda not a full holiday review for future travellers just a quick how it went .

Just got back from a weeks sailing up at Torbole on Lake Garda Italy.
The place of guaranteed afternoon wind.Well I beg to differ.
Sunday-Rain
Monday_brilliant sunshine,1pm good force 4-5 wind.Hired kit.Just like a candy shop all the latest Mistral boards and Pryde sails you could ask for.
Yes I'll take that Synchro 115 and I'll try that Disco 6.6 sail.Off we go.There are so many boards flying around it is like the M-25.
I see a catamaran flying along, so I follow it.All of a sudden the wind just fizzels to nothing.Stuck a mile off shore no wind, looking around everyone is just sat there waiting, had to swim back about half a mile in the end.
Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday- good wind alright sail, just to much traffic to keep dodging and to flat.Must get loads of damaged kit with some of the dickheads sailing out here.
Loads of repair shops here offering next day repairs on sails and boards.
Friday-raining no wind.
Best part of sailing at Lake Garda was being able to try almost all the mistarl range of boards.and latest Pryde sails.
Best board by far was the Synchro.See pic,you got more chance of picking out the ball in spot the ball than picking out any sailors,I'am there somewhere amongst the sailing boats.[?]Would not go to Lake Gard just for windsurfing, but for cycling walking and everything else it is a great place.
